Description

Clear inputs. Reliable outputs. Decisions backed by data.

Atlantic is Maine’s leading credit union, and our growth? It’s driven by what the numbers tell us. But growth needs better visibility, and we’re looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to help us see what’s really happening and what should happen next.

This isn’t a generic reporting role, it’s where data, structure, and decision-making meet. You’ll build and maintain the reports and dashboards that leaders rely on every day. Think consistent definitions. Metrics that actually align to strategy. And analysis that moves conversations from opinion to evidence.

We’re a hands-on, data-curious, collaboration-first kind of team. You’ll be the engine behind enterprise reporting for loans, deposits, member growth, marketing performance, and operational metrics, and the person leaders turn to when they need to understand the “why” behind the numbers. The role touches the entire organization. The expectations are real. But the opportunity? It’s wide open. You won’t just refresh spreadsheets; you’ll help shape how Atlantic uses data to make decisions. Sound like the kind of impact you’re looking for?

So, who are we?

We are Atlantic. Our mission is to help people do better. Our culture is inclusive, fast-moving, and grounded in real results. In our world, clean data beats loud opinions, clear definitions beat assumptions, and good questions are just as important as good answers.

We offer competitive pay, full benefits, meaningful work with access to leadership, and a role that will push your analytical, technical, and communication skills to the next level

.

Requirements

Our ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence. You’re comfortable pulling, structuring, and validating data from multiple systems, and you care about accuracy, consistency, and clear logic. You’re strong in Excel (including pivot tables and formulas), have an intermediate working knowledge of SQL and Power BI, and you’re interested in advancing your data visualization and BI skills.

Work Location: This position will work onsite for the first 90 days to support onboarding, training, and relationship-building. Upon completion of this period, the position may transition to a hybrid model, depending on performance and organizational needs.

You know how to translate business questions into metrics and queries, spot trends and anomalies, and explain your findings in a way non-technical colleagues can act on. You’re comfortable working across departments, asking clarifying questions, and balancing recurring reporting with ad hoc requests. You understand the responsibility that comes with handling sensitive data and approach your work with accuracy, discretion, and a focus on reliability because with access to data comes accountability.
