IT Infrastructure Administrator III
Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid)
 Schedule: 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM
 Onsite: Monday & Tuesday | Remote: Wednesday - Friday
 Duration: Up to 6-month contract
 Pay Rate: $53.41 - $57.00 per hour
 Schedule: Alternating Fridays off
 
Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Administrator III to support day-to-day administration of enterprise infrastructure systems. This role requires strong technical expertise in Linux, HPUX, Windows Server, storage systems, and enterprise backup environments.
The position involves analyzing technical issues, interpreting policies and system guidelines, and determining the best course of action to resolve infrastructure problems across multiple platforms.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform day-to-day administration of enterprise infrastructure systems
  • Administer and troubleshoot Red Hat Enterprise Linux and HPUX environments
  • Manage Windows Server and Active Directory environments
  • Support SAN/NAS storage administration
  • Perform backup and restore operations using enterprise backup solutions
  • Install, configure, and maintain server software, upgrades, and patches
  • Monitor and optimize server performance and system reliability
  • Support Azure IaaS infrastructure design, migration, and administration
  • Assist with VMware infrastructure and virtualization environments
  • Analyze system logs and resolve infrastructure issues
  • Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery procedures
  • Provide technical support and collaborate with internal IT teams
 


 
Requirements / Must-Haves
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and 4+ years of relevant experience
     OR Master's degree and 2+ years of experience
  • Strong experience with Linux/Unix administration
  • Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux
  • Experience with HPUX administration
  • Experience with Windows Server (2012 or newer)
  • Experience with SAN/NAS storage environments
  • Experience with enterprise backup and restore systems
  • Knowledge of Active Directory administration
  • Exposure to VMware infrastructure environments
  • Experience with Azure IaaS or cloud infrastructure
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Valid California Class C Driver License
  • SAN/NAS experience preferred
  • OpenShift experience a plus
