Job Summary



We’re hiring a Systems Administrator to help keep our infrastructure secure, stable, and high-performing across on-premises and virtualized environments. In this role, you’ll manage and optimize systems and core networking service, troubleshooting complex issues, driving improvements, and partnering with teams across the organization. If you’re a detail-oriented self-starter who can lead by example, communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and handle sensitive systems with discretion, we’d love to hear from you.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate for the Systems Administrator position is a highly experienced professional with expert-level skills managing both on-premises and virtualized environments. They bring extensive hands-on experience with VMware virtualization platforms, Veeam backup and recovery solutions, Microsoft technologies such as Windows Server and Active Directory, and core networking infrastructure. This individual demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and a strong ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues, identify root causes, and implement reliable, long-term solutions that maintain system stability, security, and performance.

In addition to strong technical expertise, the candidate shows initiative and works effectively with limited supervision while confidently prioritizing workload across operational needs, projects, and incident response. They possess excellent soft skills and serve as a team lead who collaborates well with colleagues, mentors junior staff, and communicates clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The ideal professional is trustworthy and discreet, capable of handling sensitive systems, credentials, and organizational information with the highest level of professionalism.

Additional Information

Minimum Qualifications

Any combination of training and experience which would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required knowledge and abilities would be:

  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a computer related field OR four (4) years of experience working with and administering systems. 

OR

  • Current MCSA with four (4) years of experience, an MCSE with five (5) years of experience, or an MCITP with six (6) years of experience working in some level of system administration.
  • Completed coursework in systems design is highly desirable.
