Network / Systems Administrator

The Network/Systems Administrator is responsible for maintaining, securing, and optimizing IT infrastructure supporting DoD operations, including servers, networks, and system environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs)
• Manage servers (Windows/Linux), virtualization, and cloud environments
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability
• Implement patches, updates, and system hardening
• Troubleshoot network and system issues
• Support backup, recovery, and continuity operations
• Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity and configuration standards
• Maintain documentation and system configurations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of systems/network administration experience
• Experience with Cisco, VMware, Windows Server, Linux
• Security+ required (DoD baseline certification)
• Knowledge of STIGs, RMF, and NIST controls
