Position Description:
Designs and develops high performance Cloud compliant components per business needs, adopting industry standard practices for code quality and information security. Collaborates with the development team to design and implement shareholder reporting requirements. Supports shareholder reporting products and business workflows. Automates existing processes for acceptance test driven development (ATDD). Performs server-side development using Java, Spring, Rest APIs, J2EE, Persistence frameworks (Hibernate), and relational database (Oracle). Leverages DevOps and Continuous Integrations/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices and tools (Jenkins and Concourse) to deliver high quality code with high test coverage. Uses business knowledge to translate the vision for divisional initiatives into business solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications and conducting studies of alternatives.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and five (5) years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) developing full stack enterprise software applications using Java, SpringBoot, Angular, Kafka, and Cloud services platforms in a financial services domain.
Or, alternatively, Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and three (3) years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) developing full stack enterprise software applications using Java, SpringBoot, Angular, Kafka, and Cloud services platforms in a financial services domain.
