As a Senior Lead Cybersecurity Architect at JPMorgan Chase in the Enterprise Product Security team, you play a pivotal role in shaping secure solutions for software applications and platform products. You drive meaningful business impact by applying deep technical expertise and innovative problem-solving to diverse cybersecurity challenges.
Job responsibilities
- Guide the evaluation of cybersecurity principles, processes, and controls, and lead the assessment of new technologies using industry standards and frameworks.
- Provide technical guidance and direction to support technical teams, contractors, and vendors.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and senior leaders to recommend business modifications during periods of vulnerability.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in one or more cybersecurity domains.
- Advocate for best practices, tools, and methodologies throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Influence peers and project leaders to adopt leading-edge technologies.
- Foster a culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect within the team.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Minimum 6 years of experience in cybersecurity architecture.
- Experience with threat modeling methodologies such as STRIDE and MITRE ATT&CK frameworks.
- Experience identifying and remediating configuration drifts using CIS Security baselines.
- Knowledge of identity and access management solutions.
- Hands-on experience with security architecture.
- Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise cybersecurity solutions and controls.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++) or relevant applications.
- Advanced knowledge of cybersecurity architecture, applications, and technical processes, with expertise in at least one technical discipline (e.g., public cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile).
- Practical experience with cloud-native technologies.
- Demonstrated track record of independently owning and delivering security architecture decisions across complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies to select or recommend the best solutions for future state architecture.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP.
- Experience with cloud security platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2).
- Experience leading cross-functional security projects.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
