DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Develop, maintain, and enhance the Chase Mobile iOS application and a variety of in-house frameworks to ensure a seamless customer experience across different Apple platforms including iPhones and iPads. Implement required WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards to ensure a fully accessible user interface. Collaborate with analytics partners to design, implement, and document Adobe event-based analytics to track customer behavior, engagement, and feature adoption rates. Coordinate release management workflows. Communicate clearly via spoken and written means with a variety of audiences including team members, colleagues, partner teams, product, design, and leadership to explain the how and why behind technology implementations to non-technical audiences.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, User Experience (UX) Design, or related field of study plus two (2) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer or related occupation.. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, User Experience (UX) Design, or related field of study plus four (4) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires two (2) years of experience with the following: Developing iOS applications using Swift 6.x with SwiftUl and UIKit frameworks; Using Apple frameworks including Combine, Foundation, Swift Testing, and XCTest; Migrating applications from Swift 5.x to Swift 6.x including strict concurrency; Authoring unit tests, UI integration tests, and automation scripts to identify issues prior to deploying to production; Using architectural patterns including MVVM and MVVM-C patterns to separate concerns for enhancing modularity, maintainability, and scalability of iOS applications; Implementing analytics tracking into iOS applications; Using Git for version control including changes to source code and checking commit history; Using tools including GitHub and BitBucket for code repository collaboration, including accessing build information, creating pull requests and forks, and commenting on pull requests. This position requires one (1) year of experience with the following: Building fully accessible iOS applications that are inclusive of all users; Implementing feature flagging and experimentation within mobile applications; Using Splunk for monitoring and troubleshooting; Using ServiceNow for enterprise level change management; Using front-end web technologies React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to debug web views displayed within mobile applications; Implementing WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards using techniques including iOS VoiceOver, Dynamic Type, custom accessibility elements in SwiftUI and UIKit to ensure a fully accessible user interface. This position requires any amount of experience with the following: Using wireframing applications including Figma to build mobile user interfaces according to visual specifications, to design systems components to use, accessibility guidelines, and edge cases detailed by designers; Authoring, debugging, and maintaining unit tests, UI test, and integration tests using tools including Swift Testing, XCTest, XCUITest, ViewInspector, Gherkin, contract tests, and API mocking applications; Diagnosing and implementing DevOps practices including advanced testing pipelines for iOS apps, Jenkins and Jules applications, Sonar scans, build artifacts, and CI/CD integration; Developing and debugging web applications built with front end technologies including React.js given that there are various UI web views built with React that are displayed within the mobile application; Coordinate release management workflows by creating and tracking ServiceNow tickets for deployments ensuring compliance with enterprise standards; Implementing and deploying feature flag-driven development to control rollouts of new features, trigger maintenance modes, and conduct temporary experiments using third-party offerings including Split.IO.
