System Engineer I

Posting Summary:

Mission Multiplier is seeking a knowledgeable Systems Engineer to support the analysis teams at MSFC. This role is responsible for the configuration, installation, and support of pre, and post processing analysis tools used across MSFC. The position focuses on assisting analysts throughout the full lifecycle of receiving an MCAD model, preparing it for analysis, and executing structural, thermal, vibration, and pressure simulations. Hands-on experience with finite element analysis tools and the ability to bridge data between different modeling technologies is essential.

Job Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain Abaqus, Ansys, NASTRAN, FEMAP, Simcenter, MATLAB, and MathCAD on Windows-based workstations.
• Support designers and engineers through onboarding, troubleshooting, workflow
• guidance, and daily analysis issues.
• Assist with the development of Ansys Minerva for analysis-data management.
• Provide insight and support to DevSecOps and automation initiatives within the environment
• Applies fundamental concepts, processes, practices and procedures on technical assignments.
• Provides support related to analysis tools used in the MSFC Engineering Labs.
• Analysis and verification for pre-processing, mesh creation, simulation setup, and post-processing of Engineering workflows is required.
• Continuous review and improvement of analysis tools and their use is expected.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a B.S./B.A. in IT or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of related experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust security clearance.
• Ability to interact with other team members.
• Programing/coding skills for automation and DevSecOps with proficiency in C++, and/or other languages preferred.
