Go Security Pro is seeking a full-time technical cybersecurity professional for our Penetration Testing and Technical Testing consulting practice. As a Penetration Tester consultant, you will participate in a variety of projects with clients across industries. We invest in our employees, and training is one of our core values. Salary Range: $75,000-$125,000 depending on experience
This position is not fully remote. While the role is centered in Tulsa, Oklahoma, candidates within approximately two hours of driving distance (including Oklahoma City, Northwest Arkansas, and nearby areas) may be considered, with an expectation of regular onsite presence as business needs require. Minimal travel required, up to 25%.
Demonstrated Skills:
- Perform penetration tests for clients that may include, internal and external network penetration tests, web application penetration tests, wireless network penetration tests, social engineering tests, and other penetration tests as requested.
- Perform internal and external vulnerability assessments.
- Our consultants are expected to have strong communication skills with the ability to lead face-to-face meetings with clients while always maintaining professionalism.
- Strong writing skills are necessary for delivering impactful reports to clients. Writing is an essential function of this role, including drafting assessment reports, accurately capturing risk details, and creating actionable recommendations. Audiences for our deliverables include both IT personnel and non-technical business leadership, and our written deliverables accommodate both audiences.
- Lead and participate in many projects simultaneously. Ensure that project objectives are delivered on time and meet stakeholder expectations for quality.
- Conduct management briefings on test activities, scenarios, results and recommendations.
- While we use tools for penetration testing, our tests are highly customized for each client. Note that you will not be running a pen testing application, but rather conducting manual, hands on penetration testing with exposure to a variety of toolsets.
- Provide consistent follow-through with the client points of contact and stakeholders as well as internal management to ensure appropriate visibility and escalation where needed.

- Manage customer relationships and ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for the Sales Team to listen to the needs of current and prospective clients and identify opportunities for GO to assist with their cybersecurity objectives.
- Ability and enthusiasm to provide support in other areas of consulting including public speaking, governance, risk, and compliance, incident response, third party risk management and sales assistance.
- Maintain and professional demeanor that helps elevate the corporate brand.

QualificationsPreferred Education and Work Experience:
- The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s or associate’s degree in a technical subject matter, the aptitude for quickly learning, and a strong work ethic.
- Relevant IT and security certifications are preferred.
- Prior work experience is preferred. We will consider fully onsite candidates located in Tulsa, OK who do not have prior work experience given a strong educational background and/or relevant certifications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with a variety of security tools and will have demonstrated passion for developing their technical skills.
