Hall's Culligan is seeking a self-motivated Help Desk Technician to add to our Corporate Team in Wichita! The primary responsibilities of this role include support of all of our employees’ software/hardware and connectivity issues. The Help Desk Technician must be able to communicate effectively with other employees to gather detailed information about their issues and resolve in an orderly fashion. In addition, the Help Desk Technician must work closely with team members for special projects and resolving complex issues. Help Desk Technicians are responsible for monitoring all tickets in our ticketing system and ensuring timely resolution and closure. 

What you'll do -
  • Monitor and respond quickly and efficiently to requests received through the IT helpdesk
  • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
  • Respond to customer queries by phone and email
  • Ask questions to determine nature of problem.
  • Walk employees through problem-solving process.
  • Create step-by-step training material with screenshots for employees
  • Train computer users
  • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming concerns and issues related to systems, software and hardware
  • Document internal procedures
  • Maintain daily performance of computer systems
  • Ask educated questions and listen to customers to determine root cause of issues
  • Work through the problem-solving process with users
  • Run diagnostic problems to resolve problems
  • Report significant and recurring issues to the Systems Administrator
  • Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems
  • Collect feedback to determine patterns and issues such that they can be resolved or FAQs can be provided to users to ease in troubleshooting
  • Configure and setup new computers for users
  • Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
  • Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure issue has been resolved.
  • Gain feedback from customers about computer usage.
  • Assist the Systems Administrator with special projects involving various IT tasks
  • Assist with Programming and Scripting custom applications required to resolve technical issues
  • Perform various weekly tasks such as verify antivirus server functionality and update status
Qualifications - 
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of IT Support Experience

Where you'll work - 

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
