Description

Job Summary: 

The IT Technician is responsible for providing day-to-day technical support across all Lewis Automotive Group locations, ensuring systems, devices, and users operate efficiently. This role manages and resolves issues through the internal ticketing system, supporting a wide range of IT needs including user access, troubleshooting hardware, and device provisioning. The position requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering excellent internal customer service.



Qualifications

Qualifications 

Required Skills/Abilities: 

  • Strong understanding of basic PC management, including hardware troubleshooting, operating systems, and user support. 

  • Familiarity with Active Directory, including user account creation and basic administration. 

  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support non-technical users in a professional and approachable manner. 

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tickets and prioritize effectively. 

  • Process-driven mindset with a focus on consistency, documentation, and continuous improvement. 

  • Dependable with a strong work ethic and commitment to customer service. 

  • Ability to work on-site across multiple locations as needed. 

Preferred Skills/Abilities: 

  • CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent technical knowledge. 

  • Previous experience in an IT support, help desk, or IT technician role. 

  • Experience working in a multi-location or fast-paced business environment. 

Education and Experience: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. 

  • Additional technical certifications or coursework in Information Technology are preferred. 

Physical Requirements: 

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working on computers. 

  • Ability to lift and move basic IT equipment such as desktops, monitors, and peripherals. 

  • Ability to travel between locations as needed.
