About the Role

We’re looking for a Regional IT Support Lead to join our growing team, based on-site at our La Porte, Texas office. In this role, you’ll be the go-to IT expert for regional support for the Western half of the U.S. You’ll work directly with our field service teams and local office staff to deliver high-quality technical support and ensure the smooth operation of our systems, infrastructure, and cloud services.

You’ll support an industrial services company that operates 24/7, meaning some off-hours or weekend support may be needed. You will participate in an on-call rotation schedule for off hours and weekends.

This is a great opportunity for a hands-on IT professional with solid troubleshooting skills and experience supporting cloud platforms, who’s ready to step into a lead role without needing prior management experience.

What You’ll Do

🖥️ IT Support & Operations
• Serve as the primary IT contact for offices in Texas and the Western U.S.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Tier 1 & Tier 2 issues across hardware, software, printing, and endpoint systems in a fast-paced environment
• Utilize NinjaOne RMM and NinjaOne ticketing to manage, prioritize, and resolve support requests efficiently
• Coordinate with centralized IT teams for escalations and larger initiatives

🛠️ User Onboarding & Access Management
• Provision and manage user accounts in Azure AD and Microsoft 365
• Deploy and configure laptops, peripherals, and mobile devices using Autopilot and Intune
• Manage Apple device enrollment and provisioning via Apple Business Manager
• Standardize, document, and continuously improve onboarding processes with strong attention to detail

🗂️ Asset Management & Inventory Oversight
• Maintain accurate IT asset inventory and lifecycle tracking across regional offices
• Proactively coordinate with corporate IT to procure and replenish equipment, minimizing downtime
• Monitor stock levels and ensure compliance with internal asset management policies

☁️ Cloud Services, SharePoint & Automation
• Design, build, and administer SharePoint sites, including structure, permissions, and content management
• Support Microsoft 365 applications and services across the organization
• Configure and troubleshoot Azure Universal Print
• Monitor and adjust Conditional Access policies within Azure AD to maintain security and accessibility
• Develop and support workflow automation using Power Automate (Bonus)

🤝 Collaboration & Regional Support
• Partner with corporate IT and cross-functional teams on regional and enterprise initiatives
• Travel occasionally (typically one week per year or less) for onsite support, upgrades, and deployments
• Demonstrate strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and ability to multitask across competing priorities



Qualifications

Qualifications and Skills

  • 3+ years of IT support or help desk experience (Tier 1 or Tier 2 level)
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Windows, Azure AD, and Universal Print
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint administration
  • Familiarity with Conditional Access policies in Azure AD
  • NetSuite familiarity is a plus
  • Able to work independently and manage tasks across multiple locations
  • Willingness to be flexible with work hours in a 24/7 operational environment

 

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to use a keyboard, mouse, and various office equipment (such as printers, phones, and fax machines) to complete assigned duties.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a desk or computer.
  • Adequate vision (with or without correction) to read documents, emails, and work on a computer screen.
  • Sufficient hearing to engage in conversations and participate in phone calls and meetings.
  • Occasionally lift and carry files or office supplies up to 25 pounds.
  • Occasional walking, standing, and bending to perform tasks, access files, or attend meetings.
  • Ability to work in a typical office setting with moderate noise levels, varying temperatures, and exposure to computers.

Daily responsibilities include using a computer, handling documents, and engaging in virtual or in-person meetings. The atmosphere is quiet and professional, with opportunities for collaboration in designated spaces. Employees should be comfortable with prolonged focus on detailed tasks and occasional light physical activity, such as retrieving office supplies or attending in-office meetings.
